I think the most important invention during the past 100 years is the internet. First , because it has greatly changed our lives. For example, with online shopping which is made possible by the internet, we don’t hanve to go out and shop for something and also with online chatting, we can chat with anyone anywhere in the world. Second , it has greatly facilitated our work.Because with the help of the internet, searching for the needy information is just a piece of cake. It will probably take about 2 seconds to get the information you need. I can’t imaginewhat life is going to be like  without the internet.
